Soffits are external protection boards that are fitted underneath your gutters on the exterior of your home. Soffits are designed to fill in the space between the exterior of the property’s structure and the area underneath the gutters and roof. When this area isn’t fitted with a soffit, it can remain open and provide the perfect nesting area for pests or mold. By installing a soffit, however, that space will then be closed and can deter any buildup of moisture or pests that could compromise the integrity of your roof.

Soffits

Your soffits can become damaged over time due to natural elements and exposure to various weather conditions. We assist in repairing your soffits or installing new ones if your existing ones are too damaged beyond repair. We can seal any cracks in the soffits and install reinforcements if your existing soffits have holes, creases, or obvious damages. Repairing your soffits will also ensure that no moisture can seep in through the cracks of the soffits and build up, causing further damage.

Fascia

The fascia is the connecting structure that secures the soffit to the roof. Since most roofs only extend outward and don’t drop down, the fascia serves as the panel that drops down and connects the two areas together to form one structure. The fascia also helps your roof naturally transition against your home’s exterior, along with providing a protective barrier against water for your soffit. The features work together to then further protect your roof from water damage. We recommend having both a fascia and a soffit to give your roof the ultimate protection.

Siding

Your home’s siding is the exterior surface material that covers your home’s external and structural walls. The siding is usually made up of vinyl, wood, or metal, and are layered across the surface of your home’s external walls. While the siding itself isn’t part of your roof, it provides a level of protection for your home and works in conjunction with your soffit and fascia to ensure that water cannot seep into any cracks or crevices present on the outside of the home. We can assist in providing siding solutions that work with your soffit and fascia and offer you the comfort and security you need to continually protect your home.

Bargeboard

The bargeboard is the panel that’s attached to the front of your home’s exterior, and serves to hide the adjacent boards that make up your home’s structure and create a softer transition on your home’s exterior aesthetic. Without a bargeboard, your roof and home’s exterior would come to a sharp point that would be exposed from the front view. To hide this, the bargeboard can be installed and painted to your liking to blend the rest of your home’s side features in as well, such as the soffit and fascia. We can assist in installing the bargeboard for the first time, repairing an existing bargeboard, or replacing a bargeboard with a more modern one.
